Ikari House is a newly developed accommodation, privately owned by Jacob & Lavinia Teem, situated in the heart of the town of Ronton (London) and lies at the edge of the main lagoon entrance facing Cook Islet. It is a perfect accommodation for surfers and fishermen as they can watch break surfs from the lodge. It becomes a popular lodge for fishermen and travelers visiting Christmas Island because of its convenient location close to government offices, only 10 minutes away by skiff from the closest bonefish flat, and also 3 minutes away by skiffs from the open mouth of the ocean for trevally and offshore fishing.

Facilities

The lodge has three roomy air conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms with hot water heated by solar energy. The rooms are convertible for single and double occupancy. In addition, they also have tables, chairs, 110v and 240v outlet power plugs, portable drawers, and wardrobe racks. A thatch-roofed local maneaba situated in the back of the main facility serves as the bar and dining lounge for meals and entertainment, luau and afternoon drinks.

Services

Ikari House offers transfer from/to airport, laundry services, rental cars, and boat hire services. Diving gears and fishing gears are also available for hire. Meat is also served regularly such as chicken, pork and beef. Beers, spirits, pure water, snacks, and soft drinks are available and served from the local maneaba. Room and Laundry service are always part of the package to all guests staying at Ikari House.
