Come and stay at the friendly and peaceful Lagoon Breeze Lodge located beside the lagoon in rustic and quiet surroundings in Abarao Village of South Tarawa just 10-15 minutes away from the airport. A nearby sea-lake provides a cool breezy atmosphere and there is a spacious green grass park ideal for children and social functions including BBQs and small private parties. We provide travelers, business people and long-term residents with upscale accommodation, personalized service and information on local businesses and attractions.

Facilities

The lodge provides two types of accommodation, self-contained apartments and single/double rooms located in the main building with a shared kitchen. There are four single rooms and four double occupancy rooms. Most of the rooms have air-conditioner and a small fridge and every room has a fan and its own separate bathroom and toilet facility. The self-contained apartments are stand-alone buildings right next to the lagoon and they are provided with a kitchen, refrigerator, air-conditioner, fan, gas stove, bathroom and toilet facility.

Some of the rooms and the apartments have a beautiful view of the sunset and the blue lagoon! The price of rooms ranges between $55.00 and $88.00 per night. Single and double occupancy rooms are cheaper than the apartments.

Services

• Breakfast, coffee, tea and clean water free of charge!  Lunch & Dinner can be prepared upon request. Dinner specials on Sundays is Roasted Chicken at a cost that is less than you expect. Other meals like local fish dishes can also be prepared on order.
• Courtesy transfers to and from Bonriki Airport are also provided.  Rental cars can also be arranged prior to your arrival with standard rental rates of $50-$60 per day.
• Suggested tours can also be arranged to the outer-islands to experience the real Kiribati way of life, diving, snorkeling, sailing a canoe in the Tarawa lagoon, WWII tours.
• Wireless Internet is available to those who have laptops while an office computer can be made available for guests who do not have laptops.
• Your room, including shower and toilets, will be cleaned every day at a time that is most convenient to you. Towels will be changed every day and bedding will be changed every two days.
• Laundry services are available every day at an extra charge. Please leave dirty clothes in the laundry bag in your room if you wish for them to be cleaned. Pressing service can be made available on request at a price.
• Television in the main lounge you can watch television at any time until 11.30 pm. Although, please be mindful of the comfort of other guests and maintain minimal noise.
• Room to room calls are free of charge. Ask the reception for extension numbers. Local or international calls require TSKL phone cards. They can be purchased at the front desk otherwise you can purchase your cards from the TSKL office in Bairiki or at any other TSKL branches.
• Check-out times is at 2 pm.  Please contact management staff before hand if you wish to extend your check-out time. You may leave luggage at front desk for no extra charge.
